Marl (dpa / lnw) - An Intercity train drove over concrete slabs in Marl that were on a switch. The engine driver of IC 1021, who was traveling from Hamburg-Altona to Nuremberg, informed the federal police on Monday evening, a spokesman for the authority said on Tuesday. When securing evidence, the officers found debris from the concrete slabs. Local residents reported a loud bang to officials. A little later, two young men on bicycles are said to have quickly left the scene of the crime.
