North Rhine-Westphalia: Irritant gas at vocational college: Ten students in the clinic

Oberhausen (dpa / lnw) - At a vocational college in Oberhausen, ten students were so injured by irritant gas on Wednesday that they had to be taken to hospitals. The Oberhausen fire brigade announced that it had moved to the school with several technical assistance vehicles and rescue service vehicles. It was then determined that a number of students had come into contact with irritant gas when leaving the classroom in the corridor. The teacher immediately led her back into the classroom, closed the door and opened the windows.

Emergency doctors then found that ten students had severe respiratory problems and seven students had hardly any symptoms. The ten students were taken to different hospitals, the others were able to go home. It was still unclear who sprayed the irritant gas until the evening.
