Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - After around ten months as CEO at Fortuna Düsseldorf, Alexander Jobst personally draws a positive balance and hopes to continue working with sports director Klaus Allofs. "I think Klaus suits Fortuna well with his agility, experience, will and enthusiasm for the club. It's a lot of fun with him, we have a good culture of argument, but we also laugh a lot with each other. It's important that we are united internally and externally, and that's what we do," said the 49-year-old Jobst of the "Bild" newspaper.
Jobst did not want to go into detail about the status of the contract negotiations with Allofs, whose contract expires next year. In Allofs, however, he sees "the face of Fortuna on the outside, there is nothing better than having Klaus by my side as a sports director in the future."
