Schmallenberg (dpa / lnw) - The police may have thwarted a killing spree in Schmallenberg, Sauerland. A woman had contacted the police and reported that her 35-year-old son had announced a killing spree via WhatsApp.
A special task force was requested and arrested the man on Thursday evening in his apartment in Schmallenberg. "It is still being checked whether he comes into psychiatric care," said a police spokeswoman on Friday. The 35-year-old is also being investigated for announcing a crime.
