North Rhine-Westphalia: major fire in the carpentry in Lemgo

Lemgo (dpa / lnw) - A fire in a carpentry shop in Lemgo triggered a large-scale operation by the fire brigade on Monday. Two warehouses were affected, said a fire brigade. The employees could have left the company independently, one person was slightly injured in the arm. The "Westfalen-Blatt" had previously reported on it.

"There is little fire, a lot of smoke," said a spokesman for the control center in the Lippe district. A cloud of dark smoke could be seen in photos above the commercial area. According to the fire department spokesman, a good 85 emergency services were on site. According to initial findings, the fire probably broke out between the two halls, but the exact cause of the fire was initially unclear. The fire service continued as of Monday evening.
