Aachen (dpa / lnw) - After an online sex worker reported a 57-year-old man to the regional court in Aachen for serious sexual abuse of children. The professional driver is said to have severely abused his stepson's seven-year-old child and possessed photos of child sexual abuse. At the beginning of the trial on Monday, the accused admitted the allegations about his lawyer, but only gave information about himself.
The 37-year-old witness reported that she was "totally shocked" when a child's head suddenly appeared during the sex video chat with the accused. She asked the man who was there. He then pointed the camera at the child while it performed sexual acts on him. "I continued my show and filmed it," she told the court. It was evident that the child was not doing this for the first time, said the witness, who described herself as an online entertainer. She held the cell phone in such a way that the 57-year-old could not see it.
The woman went to the police a few hours later. The identity of the man was determined, he was arrested that same evening and his apartment in the Aachen area was searched. There, pictures of sexual abuse of children were found on mobile phones and laptops. The 57-year-old father is in custody. According to the police report, the wife was completely surprised by the allegations.
The accused reported to the court that his own son, who was in need of help, and two small step-grandchildren - the stepson's children - had been living with them for more than three years. Of the little ones, the seven-year-old had become massively conspicuous in kindergarten and school. That's why calls always came, trying to get therapies.
"I couldn't get any rest," reported the 57-year-old, who works in shifts. The court has scheduled four days of hearings.
