Bonn (dpa / lnw) - A 37-year-old is said to have hit his wife in Bonn and injured her so badly that she had to be taken to the hospital. He was reported for bodily harm and is not allowed to go to the shared apartment in the Bad Godesberg district for ten days, as the police announced on Thursday. Such a so-called ban on entering the home is intended to give victims time to seek advice and support from a local support facility.

If the man violates the ban, he faces a fine of 500 euros. The woman was reportedly taken to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. From there, the police were informed.
