Cologne (dpa / lnw) - A cat took the regional train to Cologne alone in its carrying basket after its owner missed the train. The train at the main station was searched and the cat was found safe and sound, the federal police said on Friday. The cat named "Fleckchen" was eventually picked up by her owner.
Her friend had put the cat on the train in the carrying basket on Thursday evening at the Roisdorf train station near Bonn. When he was just about to validate the ticket outside, the doors closed and the train left without a man, but with a cat.
