Essen (dpa / lnw) - In the coming days, the weather in North Rhine-Westphalia will remain mild and humid. On Monday, maximum values between 12 and 14 degrees were reached, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen in the morning. Temperatures between 8 and 11 degrees are possible at high altitudes. In addition, it is still rainy and windy, in the low mountain ranges there can also be stormy gusts. The sky should clear up in the afternoon and the wind should die down. The weather service expects only a few showers with temperatures between 2 and 6 degrees for Tuesday night.
According to the DWD forecast, Tuesday will be cloudy and mostly dry with maximum temperatures of up to 11 degrees. The wind is expected to pick up again during the night, and there may be gusts of wind at high altitudes. From the second half of the night, new rain showers will also appear.
Wednesday begins with showers that increase as the day progresses. With maximum values of up to 13 degrees, it remains windy, in the mountains there can also be gusts of wind.
