Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Ina Scharrenbach, who was re-appointed as construction and municipal minister, is now also a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. The CDU politician was sworn in on Thursday in the plenum. Scharrenbach was subsequently drawn into the state parliament as a member of parliament: Because the Paderborn CDU member of parliament Daniel Sieveke was changing to the position of state secretary in Scharrenbach's ministry, a mandate became vacant. The 45-year-old Scharrenbach was defeated in the state elections in the Unna II constituency in mid-May by the former SPD Labor and Social Affairs Minister Rainer Schmeltzer and had missed the direct entry into the state parliament.
