Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - NRW Minister of Health Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) is concerned about people's health before the expected hot summer days. "For some, that means great days outside in the park, in the garden or by the water. But the strong heat can be dangerous, especially for older people, those with previous illnesses or children," said Laumann on Sunday. His advice is very practical: "Drink enough, avoid physical exertion if possible and, if possible, stay in the shade."
The German Weather Service expects temperatures of up to 36 degrees in North Rhine-Westphalia on Monday and up to the 40-degree mark on Tuesday.
