The total number of employees in the property tax hotline of the tax authorities will be increased nationwide by up to 200 to a maximum of 500, the Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday. The hotline has been strengthened in terms of personnel and technology, said a spokeswoman for the ministry of the German Press Agency.
The information platform www.grundsteuer.nrw.de also offers further explanatory videos and click-by-click instructions that guide the owners through the forms in the Elster online tax office.
