Düsseldorf (dpa/lnw) - Since the beginning of the year, new applications for small-scale funding for sustainable commitment can be submitted. State Secretary Andrea Milz announced this on Monday in Düsseldorf. The state government is again supporting the program with two million euros. This means that up to 2,000 projects can be funded with a fixed amount of 1,000 euros each. Applications are to be submitted via the online portal Engagementförderung.nrw.
Both existing measures that will be made more ecologically sustainable in the future - such as switching from disposable to reusable tableware in clubs - as well as new projects could be supported. Repair cafés, community gardens in the neighborhood or insect hotels were given as examples.
