North Rhine-Westphalia: nocturnal wanderings: donkey ensures police operation

Dorsten (dpa / lnw) - A donkey went on a hike in Dorsten on Friday night and thus triggered a police operation. Early on Friday morning, several road users reported the animal, which was carelessly using a road for its trip, as reported by the police in Recklinghausen. Shortly before Autobahn 31, the donkey was wedged in and arrested by several patrol cars. The veterinary office was able to reach its owner from the neighborhood. With his experience and with "bundled strength" the animal was able to be captured without damage. There were no major traffic disruptions at that early hour.
