North Rhine-Westphalia: NRW cannot deport 25 dangerous people

Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - NRW cannot deport 25 so-called dangerous people abroad, although they are "obliged to leave the country". According to a paper for the state parliament, this is not possible for "factual or legal reasons". Since January 1, three people who were at risk have been deported.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, there are currently 189 Islamist threats in NRW. Seven more come from the field of "foreign ideology" - which means, for example, foreign parties or movements that are banned in Germany. According to the ministry, there are also 17 threats from the right-wing spectrum. There is no one from the left scene.

The government's answer to a small inquiry by the AfD does not explain why the dangerous people who are obliged to leave the country are not actually deported. In the end, for example, it was because the origin of those affected could not be found - or the perpetrators defended themselves in court.
