Halver (dpa / lnw) - A 66-year-old man from Halver (Märkischer Kreis) was caught turning a screw in a car tire. Around 10 p.m. on Sunday evening, a witness happened to look out the window and observed that his neighbor disappeared behind a van with a cordless screwdriver, the police said on Monday. The man ran after the 66-year-old and saw him again drilling a screw in the tire of his company car.
When the police arrived, the tire was said to be flat. The accused admitted the crime. Motive: He is annoyed that the van is parked there. He may be a repeat offender. Because four weeks earlier, according to the information, a screw had already been stuck in a car tire. The police are now investigating property damage to motor vehicles.
