Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - SC Paderborn won the duel of the promotion candidates against Hannover 96 1-0 (1-0) in the first test for the second half of the second Bundesliga. With temperatures around freezing point, Silord Conteh (38th minute) scored the goal of the day in the non-public game in the training and youth academy on Friday. Paderborn ended the first half of the season in sixth place (26 points) after a negative series of four defeats in a row. On the 3rd day of play, the SCP had defeated Lower Saxony 4:2.
