North Rhine-Westphalia: paraglider crashes: seriously injured

Hennef (dpa / lnw) - A paraglider crashed in Hennef (Sieg district) from a height of several meters and was seriously injured. The 53-year-old hang-glider was on the landing approach on Tuesday when his paraglider suddenly collapsed at a height of around five to seven meters, the fire brigade said. The man fell and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Why the accident happened was initially unclear.
