North Rhine-Westphalia: paramotor crash: 33-year-old pilot seriously injured

Delbrück (dpa/lnw) - A 33-year-old was seriously injured when his motorized parachute crashed in Delbrück on Tuesday. He had previously tumbled for reasons that are still unclear, as reported by the Paderborn district police. Witnesses reported that the emergency parachute did not fully open. The man fell from about 75 to 100 meters. Danger to life could not be ruled out. He was on a paraglider with a backpack motor.
