Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) - Party guests attacked police officers in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday night and slightly injured three of them. According to a press release, the police had previously been called to the celebration because of a physical altercation. When the personal details were determined, two 28 and 29-year-old guests then refused the information, insulted and threatened the officials and attacked them.
Other party guests would have shown solidarity with the attackers. The police used pepper spray and took the "troublemakers" into custody, according to the report. Investigations were initiated against those involved for dangerous bodily harm and resistance to law enforcement officials.
