North Rhine-Westphalia: Pedestrian injured in a collision with a patrol car

Aachen (dpa / lnw) - A pedestrian in Aachen was seriously injured in a collision with a patrol car. The 19-year-old collided with the police car when entering the lane, the police said on Tuesday. The officers had just turned around with the blue lights on to drive after a car for a traffic violation. When entering the street, the 19-year-old suddenly stepped onto the street from the right between parked cars. She hit the side of the patrol car, hit the right side mirror and fell. An ambulance took the 19-year-old to the hospital.
