North Rhine-Westphalia: Police are children before theft of precious metals

Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - According to the police, three children in Dortmund tried to steal precious metals on a company premises. Witnesses noticed suspicious people on Sunday evening and called the police. The officials came across cables that had already been prepared for removal. Three boys could be identified with images from a surveillance camera, the police reported on Monday. The suspects, aged 12, 13 and 14, were located and taken to the police station. A case of suspected gang theft was initiated.
