Blankenheim (dpa / lnw) - In high summer temperatures, the police discovered 500 kilograms of unrefrigerated sheep meat in a van. The meat was packed in blue plastic bags in the hold, the police said on Monday. The 57-year-old driver told the officials during the Saturday check that he wanted to sell the goods to private individuals. The veterinary office involved immediately ordered the 500 kilograms of meat to be destroyed.
