Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - A man wanted by an arrest warrant injured two police officers during a police check in Düsseldorf. According to reports, he bit the finger of one of the officers and headbutted the other. The 30-year-old was a passenger in a car that the police wanted to check on the morning of Christmas Day because the driver was apparently under the influence of drugs. It turned out that the passenger was wanted on an arrest warrant for a sexual offense. In order to evade arrest, the man became aggressive and defied the officers. They overpowered and fixed him. On the way to police custody, the 30-year-old continued to riot and hit his head against the patrol car's window.
