A road user noticed the Belgian truck because it had a conspicuous “arch shape”, the police said on Tuesday. The officials could hardly believe their eyes during the inspection. The main frame of the trailer was torn in the area of ​​an axle on both sides. Only a few centimeters would have been missing, then according to the police, the frame could have broken through completely while driving.

The 59-year-old driver had to park the truck on the site of the former Neuss motorway police station. 14 tons of pellets had to be reloaded, the semi-trailer was transported away with a low-loader. Drivers and owners would now have to expect a corresponding display, it said. A security deposit of over 500 euros was charged on site.
