North Rhine-Westphalia: Rainy start to the week in North Rhine-Westphalia

Essen (dpa / lnw) - The week in North Rhine-Westphalia begins with rain and occasional thunderstorms. During the day, isolated thunderstorms are possible from the Eifel to Siegerland in the South Westphalia region, the German Weather Service (DWD) said. There could also be strong gusts and storms due to heavy rain. During the day it should loosen up from the north of the country. On Monday, the DWD expects temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees Celsius. The night of Tuesday will therefore remain free of precipitation, it will cool down to 10 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be really summery again. The weather will become increasingly clear to sunny and it will remain dry. Temperatures will reach 26 to 30 degrees on Tuesday and 29 to 33 degrees on Wednesday.
