North Rhine-Westphalia: Relaxation of visiting regulations for homes and clinics

Düsseldorf (dpa/lnw) - Shortly before Christmas, the state government is relaxing the corona-related visiting regulations for nursing homes and hospitals in North Rhine-Westphalia. From December 23rd, no separate test certificates from test centers will be required for visits to hospitals and nursing homes or prisons. A self-test is enough, said the NRW Ministry of Health on Friday evening via Twitter. However, in cases of doubt or symptoms, facilities could have a control test carried out.
