Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The long-standing Bundesliga goalkeeper Michael Rensing is a new member of the supervisory board of the second division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf. The 38-year-old, who played for Fortuna from 2013 to 2020 after his stints at FC Bayern Munich, 1. FC Köln and Bayer Leverkusen and ended his career there, was appointed to the nine-member committee by the sports committee on Monday national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg is also a member. According to Fortuna, Rensing will also take on the position of volunteer youth leader.
