North Rhine-Westphalia: request: brother should rush attack dog on police officers

Hamm (dpa / lnw) - During a police operation in Hamm, a 38-year-old asked his brother to set an attack dog on the officers. This was preceded by physical injury and property damage on New Year's night, the police said on Sunday. When the suspect was about to be questioned, he showed himself hostile and was handcuffed. At that moment his brother came with a fighting dog. The 38-year-old asked his brother to use the dog against the officers. A 38-year-old showed solidarity with the two and tried to prevent police work. The police initiated proceedings against all those involved for resistance, physical harm and attempted release of prisoners.
