Herford (dpa / lnw) - In front of a nightclub in Herford, a vehicle is said to have been shot at on Sunday night. The 36-year-old owner of the all-terrain vehicle informed the police that shots had been fired at his car after arguments in the disco, according to a joint statement from the public prosecutor's office and the police in Bielefeld. Nobody got hurt. A total of three people were in the vehicle. According to the driver, the shots came from the direction of the entrance area of the discotheque.
The "Hermann" murder commission was set up. According to initial findings, the vehicle had several bullet holes, it said. Investigators are looking for witnesses who heard shots between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. in the area of the "Go Parc" nightclub.
