From mid-April, Höxter will attract visitors to the State Garden Show on the Weser. At the state border with Lower Saxony, until October it's all about garden art, historical buildings, relaxation and leisure - and lots of culture.
Höxter (dpa / lnw) - Two and a half months before the start of the state garden show in Höxter, the organizers will present the cultural program on Friday (11 a.m.) under the title "City, Country, River - Luftikus". The spectrum ranges from acrobatics, tightrope walking, ballet, concerts and readings with nationally known actors. The state is funding the more than 100 planned events with around 300,000 euros. The management wants to set new standards with the program and also attract national attention.
Höxter in the Weserbergland is hosting the State Horticultural Show 2023 from April 20th to October 15th. The show grounds stretch from the city center in the west along the bend of the Weser to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Corvey in the east.
