Düsseldorf (dpa/lnw) - To make it easier for the citizen tests, which have been subject to a fee since the end of June, the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Health is now offering a sample form for download. This was announced by the state government on Saturday in Düsseldorf. Under certain conditions, the test remains free for citizens. For example, women in the first trimester of pregnancy are entitled to a free test, children up to the age of five, members of the household of infected people, caring relatives, people with disabilities and their carers or residents and visitors of nursing homes, clinics or facilities for people with disabilities. Everyone else has to pay three euros.
There was criticism of the bureaucratic effort for the necessary proof. The Federal Ministry of Health has assured the NRW Ministry of Health that a self-declaration is sufficient, the state announced. Citizens can download and fill out the form. The ministry wants to help ensure that corona tests can be carried out easily.
