Essen (dpa / lnw) - At the weekend, the weather in North Rhine-Westphalia is usually changeable. It will initially be cloudy on Friday, but there may still be some rain in the morning, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen in the morning. Later the sky should clear up, in the afternoon it will remain mostly dry. The maximum values are between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius. In the night to Saturday, heavy showers and thunderstorms will move through the country from the southwest, sometimes bringing heavy rain, stormy gusts and hail. The temperatures drop to 15 to 11 degrees.
According to the meteorologists, Saturday begins with clouds, and last showers are still possible in the east. Later it will be mostly clear to sunny with maximum temperatures between 24 and 27 degrees.
According to the DWD forecast, it will initially be dry and cloudy on Sunday, but the sky will clear up in the afternoon. The temperatures rise to 27 to 31 degrees.
