Schalksmühle (dpa / lnw) - A dog and three cats died in a fire in Schalksmühle south of Dortmund. The residents of the house were able to leave the burning building in good time on Thursday night, as the fire brigade announced on Thursday.
Two dogs were able to leave the house with the people, and the fire brigade was able to save another from the flames and smoke. For another dog and three cats, help came too late, according to the fire department, they died of smoke inhalation. The fire was quickly extinguished.
