North Rhine-Westphalia: three people hit with baseball bats

Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) - Two unknown perpetrators are said to have attacked and injured three people with a baseball bat in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday. The attackers got out of a silver car at Stadtgarten and attacked a 20-year-old man with a baseball bat. In addition to the Gelsenkirchener, a 26-year-old from Castrop-Rauxel and a 24-year-old from Gelsenkirchen were injured, the police reported on Monday. In addition, the attackers are said to have tried to snatch the woman's handbag. The 26-year-old was also injured by pepper spray and taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
