North Rhine-Westphalia: Transporter crashes into truck on A1: Two injured

Münster (dpa / lnw) - Two people were injured in a rear-end collision on the A1 near Münster. A van crashed into a semi-trailer truck driving ahead on Monday evening, according to the fire brigade. The front area of ​​the transporter was so badly deformed that the passenger was trapped with serious injuries. He and the driver of the van were taken to a hospital. The route in the direction of Dortmund had to be completely closed for an hour and a half. The cause of the accident was initially unclear. According to the fire brigade, the transporter had driven onto the semitrailer at high speed.
