North Rhine-Westphalia: truck driver dies after an accident in the hospital

Borken (dpa / lnw) - A 41-year-old truck driver died in the hospital after an accident in Borken (Borken district). According to the police, the man with his semitrailer first got onto the green verge, drove through a ditch and came to a stop in an adjacent ditch. Rescue workers freed the trapped driver, who was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. He died there a short time later. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
