North Rhine-Westphalia: Two people caught by car on e-scooters: danger to life

Marl (dpa / lnw) - A 29-year-old and a 27-year-old were hit by a car on an e-scooter in Marl in the Ruhr area. The police said they were seriously injured in the impact and subsequent fall on Sunday morning. The woman was in mortal danger and was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The man was also taken to a hospital. The 37-year-old driver, who, according to the police, drove onto the e-scooter for an unknown reason, was unharmed.
