Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - Two men were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two cars in Paderborn. A 61-year-old driver had previously encountered oncoming traffic on federal highway 1 for reasons that are still unclear, the police said on Sunday evening. There he collided with the car of a 67-year-old. Rescue workers took the two seriously injured to hospitals. Three other vehicles were involved in the accident on Sunday evening, which had driven behind the 67-year-old's car. The occupants were unharmed. While the accident was being recorded, the B1 was completely closed in both directions for a good three hours.
