Sprockhövel (dpa / lnw) - A drunk driver caused an accident in Sprockhövel (Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis) on Saturday, in which he and one of his three passengers were slightly injured and property damage of around 100,000 euros was incurred. He then fled the scene of the accident on foot with the two uninjured passengers, the police said on Sunday.
According to initial findings, the 21-year-old driver came off the road in a right-hand bend. He crashed into a wall and a lamppost. The slightly injured driver and the two uninjured passengers then ran away and left the slightly injured passenger behind, the police said. They were found near the scene of the accident.
