North Rhine-Westphalia: Unknown dies in the clinic: the police want to clarify the identity

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - The Cologne police want to find out the identity of a man who died in a clinic on October 8th. The police said on Friday that he was probably a homeless person. The approximately 30 to 40-year-old, 1.75 meter tall man was found drunk in downtown Cologne at the end of September and later collapsed in police custody. He came to a Cologne clinic and died there a week later without having given any information about his identity. An autopsy reportedly revealed the cause of death to be an internal cause without any outside influence.
