Bochum (dpa / lnw) - An unknown person sprayed an irritant at Bochum main station on Saturday and injured eleven people. According to the federal police, the victims showed reactions similar to those triggered by pepper spray. Several travelers received medical attention at an ambulance.
The federal police and the Bochum police blocked the station forecourt for a short time to determine the course of events. Video recordings would be evaluated - so far, however, the course of the crime could not be reconstructed, as the federal police said on Sunday afternoon when asked. Criminal proceedings were initiated for dangerous bodily harm. The federal police are asking for information from the population about possible observations.
