Dortmund (dpa/lnw) - Unknowns strangled a ram in the pasture in Dortmund. As a police spokesman said, the perpetrators reached the ram's pasture via an electric fence on Wednesday, where they untied the animal, which was leashed to a tree, and then on probably strangled with a rope in a shelter. Based on the buck's injuries, the police suspect that he may have been tortured by the unknown perpetrators before his death. According to the police, other animals that were also in the pasture at the time of the crime were not injured. Further background of the act were initially unclear.
