Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Four days before the big DFB Cup game against FC Bayern Munich, third division team Viktoria Cologne has already annoyed the city rivals. The Rhinelanders ended TSV 1860 Munich's winning streak on Saturday and drew 1-1 (1-0) against the league leaders, who had previously won five games in a row. The guests only scored the equalizer in the 86th minute through Jesper Verlaat in front of 5000 spectators in the Höhenberg sports park. Former Bundesliga player Marcel Risse had given Viktoria the lead with a penalty kick (24th).

Next Wednesday (8.46 p.m.) the Cologne team will meet the German record champions in the catch-up game of the first main round of the cup in the RheinEnergieStadion.
