Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - A young woman set fire to two patrol cars in front of the Düsseldorf old town guard on Monday. The 18-year-old was arrested and the fire was quickly extinguished, the police said.
There are indications of a psychological abnormality - the admission of the woman to a psychiatric ward is now being examined. She is already known to the police.
At noon, police officers noticed smoke on two patrol cars. Shortly thereafter, further arson attacks on private cars were reported. A total of five cars were damaged.
