North Rhine-Westphalia: Wrong invoices: dispatcher in court

Detmold (dpa / lnw) - A former dispatcher from Lebenshilfe Detmold has to answer to the regional court on January 16 for the alleged fraud with false invoices. According to the indictment, the 57-year-old is said to have stolen almost 900,000 euros. This was announced by the court in Detmold on Tuesday.

The accusation is commercial infidelity. From January 2017 to April 2021, the accused is said to have invoiced the transport of people with disabilities from their homes to workshops for a fictitious company from Minden in 205 cases. He signed the invoices as factually correct and had them transferred from the Lebenshilfe accounting department to the account of a woman who had been called as a witness in the trial.
