Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) has again called for a third relief package. A warm apartment or the way to work "should not be a luxury," said Wüst in his government statement on Wednesday in the state parliament.
"Normal people still have to be able to afford normal life," says Wüst. For people with low and medium incomes, pensioners, trainees or Hartz IV recipients, the load limit has already been exceeded.
NRW is ready to support the relief for the population and the economy. The state is already contributing half a billion euros to the reduction in VAT to compensate for the gas surcharge.
