North Rhine-Westphalia: Young woman throws garbage and leftovers at homeless people

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - A young woman is said to have thrown leftovers and garbage at a sleeping homeless man at Cologne Central Station on Monday evening. But instead of questioning the disrespectful action, the 20-year-old insulted the officers called, the federal police said on Tuesday.

A traveler reported to the federal police around 11 p.m. that young people threw leftover food and garbage at a sleeping man. On site, the emergency services met a young woman who was right next to a person lying on the ground - apparently from the homeless milieu. When asked about the "disrespectful act", the 20-year-old from Düsseldorf spat on the floor several times and dropped garbage. When the federal police officers gave her a place reference and wanted to release her from the measures, the woman loudly insulted the emergency services. She received a notice, it said.
