Domestic violence, attempted female suicide... It remains to be determined what motivated a 34-year old man who attacked his exwife in Creil (Oise) on Sunday, before injuring two others in his flight.
These facts were discovered in Creil's downtown park just before 5 p.m. Le Figaro reports that a 29-year old woman called the police to report that her husband had attacked her just moments before. The police are aware of him, particularly for his domestic violence case against the same young woman. The victim was admitted to hospital with a fractured nose.
The man fled on foot. Le Parisien reports that he attacked a first man while on his run. Le Figaro reports that the victim, 38 years old, was repeatedly stabbed in the throat. He would then be the new companion for the young woman. He was in critical condition when he was taken to Amiens hospital.
Soon after the second attack, police were informed that a third was taking place in a barbershop. A man was stabbed three more times. The victim would have been the neighbor of the fledgling man who was stabbed in the neck, stomach, and arm. On Sunday evening, the vital prognosis for the third victim was made.
Police arrested the man shortly after he tried to flee in his car. He was taken into custody
