In the 17th season of "Bauer sucht Frau" last year, farmer Mathias and beautician Sabrina fell in love. In January, Sabrina even moved to the organic farmer's farm in Swabia. Now the two announce with two Instagram posts on their profiles that the relationship didn't work out after all.
In his post, Mathias writes about a picture in which he can be seen with a cow instead of his Sabrina that "from now on we will go our separate ways". It is a pity and they would have imagined it differently. There was no argument, they parted on good terms, the farmer continued. He does not give a reason for the separation.
In the comments, the fans also mourn the "Bauer sucht Frau" couple. "What a pity. Sabrina was so brave and left everything behind, even gave up her well-run business," some viewers remember. Another writes: "It's a shame … nowadays people always give up so quickly." Most of them wish them all the best for the future.
Sabrina posted exactly the same text as Mathias on her Instagram page for a photo in which she stands with her back to the camera and looks into the distance at a body of water. Here, too, many are surprised in the comment column - the two would have fit together so well.
The two had gotten closer just in time for the final sprint of the Hofwoche. "I almost fly away with butterflies in my stomach," said Mathias on TV at the time. Sabrina was also sure of her feelings a short time later. "I feel very comfortable here with Mathias," she explained. So unfortunately that's over now. And so there is only one "Bauer sucht Frau" couple from last year's season that is still together: Nils and Vanessa.
